- Conduct research related to specific externally funded projects, including setting up experiments, collecting and analyzing data, troubleshooting challenges, and assisting graduate and undergraduate students on the project, as needed.
- Individually and collaboratively write reports for sponsors and papers to submit to refereed journals.
- Attend laboratory meetings with the research group and one-on-one meetings with Professor Marasteanu, as required.
- Attend relevant lectures and training sessions.
- Maintain the highest safety standards that adhere to University policy.
- Assist other laboratory/community members, as needed.
- PhD in Civil Engineering
- Research experience in advanced asphalt materials characterization and performance evaluation, pavement sustainability and material circularity, machine learning and data mining
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality publications
