This team provides exceptional support to their affiliated entities, ensuring smooth financial operations and fostering growth. As they continue to expand their reach, they are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join them as a Staff Accountant.

    Position Overview:

    The Staff Accountant plays a pivotal role in our client's financial ecosystem, responsible for processing fund distributions, overseeing operating income-statement activity, providing accounting support for affiliated companies, and assisting with audit-related tasks.

    Position Responsibilities:

    · Process fund distributions and expenses

    · Submit monthly grant reports

    · Facilitate cash transfers between accounts

    · Follow up on outstanding grant reimbursements

    · Monitor bank account activities and manage outstanding checks

    · Review and code invoices, reconcile accounts, and record expenses

    · Prepare monthly income statements and manage receivables

    · Provide accounting support for affiliated foundations, including processing gifts and grants, reconciliations, budgeting, financial statements, and audits

    · Assist with audit requests and prepare financial reports

    Skills and Qualifications:

    · Minimum 2 years' experience in accounting or finance

    · Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)

    · Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail

    · Organized, empathetic, and thoughtful in work and interactions
