    Description

As they continue to expand their reach, they are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join them as a Staff Accountant.

    Position Overview:

    The Staff Accountant plays a pivotal role in our client's financial ecosystem, responsible for processing fund distributions, overseeing operating income-statement activity, providing accounting support for affiliated companies, and assisting with audit-related tasks.

    Position Responsibilities:

    Process fund distributions and expenses

    Submit monthly grant reports

    Facilitate cash transfers between accounts

    Follow up on outstanding grant reimbursements

    Monitor bank account activities and manage outstanding checks

    Review and code invoices, reconcile accounts, and record expenses

    Prepare monthly income statements and manage receivables

    Provide accounting support for affiliated foundations, including processing gifts and grants, reconciliations, budgeting, financial statements, and audits

    Assist with audit requests and prepare financial reports

    Skills and Qualifications:

    Minimum 2 years' experience in accounting or finance

    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)

    Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail

    Organized, empathetic, and thoughtful in work and interactions
