    Job Title: Entry-Level Staff Accountant

    Location: Columbus, Ohio (on-site)

    Job Overview: They are looking for a recent graduate or entry-level professional who is passionate about accounting and eager to kick-start their career in finance. The Entry-Level Staff Accountant will receive comprehensive training and hands-on experience in various accounting functions, supporting the finance department in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with regulations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
    • Perform routine accounting tasks, such as data entry, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
    • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
    • Assist with auditing activities and internal controls.
    • Collaborate with team members to resolve accounting discrepancies and inquiries.
    • Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the finance department.
    • Stay updated on accounting principles, regulations, and industry trends.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • Strong academic background with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with [specific software] is a plus).
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
