The Medical Service (MD) Hessen is the cross-sectoral, independent and impartial social medical expert institution for the concerns of the solidarity community of statutory health insurance and social long-term care insurance.

The MD takes on important tasks in determining the need for care and in quality assurance in the healthcare sector.

In our four business areas - hospitals, incapacity/rehabilitation, outpatient care, and long-term care - we process over 500,000 orders from health and long-term care insurance annually.

For the Individual Case Assessment team in the Long-Term Care division at our location in Darmstadt, we are looking for:


Nurses as Assessors (m/f/d)

Your new team and field of work:

  • You can expect a motivated team that actively contributes to the future and improvement of the healthcare system. You will be involved in assessing the need for care in a home environment and in assessing inpatient care, as well as developing solutions for questions regarding nursing care. You can look forward to an interesting and varied job.

Who we are looking for:


  • You have at least 3 years of professional experience as a nurse (m/f/d) and have good computer skills as well as proficiency in written and spoken communication. Experience in assessments is an advantage. You have a valid Class B driver's license and your own car.
