As a Dispatcher, you are a key member of the team and act as the operation hub.

You work closely with installers, technicians, customer service and inside sales to ensure a smooth work flow and successful operation.

You lead by example, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and think in a logical and progressive manner.

Confident and detail-oriented, you are accustomed to working in fast paced environments and able to effectively manage a variety of situations on a day day-to-day basis.

Specific Responsibilities:
Schedule installation in a efficient manner to meet companies daily sales goals.

Schedule appointments/estimates insuring timely service and sending the technician with the proper skill set to customers.

Responsible to manage installs and appointments to maximize efficiency and meet companies sales and productivity goals on a daily basis.

Communicate with customers to keep them informed regarding appointments and estimated time of arrivals throughout the day.

Managing customer complaints regarding timeliness of technicians arriving to the customers home or business.

Order glass as technicians sell jobs in the field.

Sell home and business glass services to customers, when necessary

Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions

Job Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent.

Prior experience with dispatching in the trade service business is a significant plus.

Ability to work under pressure.

Ability to manage, direct and communicate with technicians who can be strong willed.

Ability and comfort level in communicating and managing what can be difficult customer situations when rescheduling or adjustment to route schedules and times of service are required.

Ability to prioritize and operate under pressure and what can often be a stressful environment.

High level of reliability

Computer literate, with working knowledge of work processing, business software and spreadsheet applications

Excellent communication skills

Good organizational and time management skills
