Business Manager & Clerk of the Board of Education

Wamego Unified School District 320 Wamego is currently accepting applications for the position of Business Manager & Clerk of the Board of Education.

This position will support the Superintendent and Board of Education through handling day-to-day accounting, accounts receivable, grant account reconciliations, and general administrative duties.

The skills necessary to be successful in the position are:

Knowledge of general business practices.
Knowledge of Skyward or other accounting software.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word.
Ability to assist in the preparation of the yearly budget.
Ability to interact and communicate cooperatively and constructively.
Ability to work independently to identify, prioritize and accomplish tasks in a timely manner.
Ability to perform work that requires a high level of confidentiality, discretion, accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to use Windows based computer hardware and standard office equipment.

Desired qualifications:

Some college or vocational education preferred; high school diploma acceptable.
Five years work-related experience.
