Description
Position SummaryOur space operations take thousands of Airmen to carry out.
As a Space Operations Specialist, you'll do everything from detecting sea-launched ballistic missiles and tracking satellites to assisting in rocket launches and space flight operations.
While staying cool under pressure, you'll use a broad, yet highly specialized skill set to perform the multiple tasks vital to Air Force missions.
Primary ResponsibilitiesFormulate, coordinate and operate space and missile operations policies.
Perform satellite operations, including launch and early-orbit activities.
Assess and catalog foreign and domestic space objects.
Perform battle management, command and control communications activities.
Conduct nuclear and emergency war order training for combat crew members.

Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics is desirable.
Must participate in initial color vision testing with CCT
Eligibility for Top Secret security clearance
Must be between the ages of 17 and 42
