    Position Summary

    Our space operations take thousands of Airmen to carry out. As a Space Operations Specialist, you'll do everything from detecting sea-launched ballistic missiles and tracking satellites to assisting in rocket launches and space flight operations. While staying cool under pressure, you'll use a broad, yet highly specialized skill set to perform the multiple tasks vital to Air Force missions.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Formulate, coordinate and operate space and missile operations policies.
    • Perform satellite operations, including launch and early-orbit activities.
    • Assess and catalog foreign and domestic space objects.
    • Perform battle management, command and control communications activities.
    • Conduct nuclear and emergency war order training for combat crew members.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics is desirable.
    • Must participate in initial color vision testing with CCT
    • Eligibility for Top Secret security clearance
    • Must be between the ages of 17 and 42
