- Perform Ferry ticket sales while providing outstanding guest service
- Effectively interact with the public to deliver excellent customer service
- Perform cleaning tasks of the ticket booth & property as required
- Maintain waiting area to the highest levels of cleanliness in accordance with Company and client standards
- Perform daily inspections of the dock and passenger waiting area near the vessel to ensure cleanliness and safety; take immediate corrective action as necessary
- Present professional level of customer service and appearance to all clients, both internal and externally
- Responsible for handling money and balancing deposits/money bags; perform deposits within guidelines provided by General Manager
- Ensure required administrative forms are completed clearly and accurately
- Ensure all receipts are accounted for
- Generate settlement and recap reports as required
- Report number and passenger count to Captain on each departure
- Additional job duties as assigned
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Copy of DD214, if Veteran status
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to effectively interact with the public
- Ability to work in fast-paced, quickly-changing environment
- Ability to process calculations frequently and continuously
- Basic computer skills
- Minimum one-year cash handling experience, preferably in retail environment
- Familiar with cash registers
- Customer Service experience
- Proven track record of working successfully in a team environment
- Must be at least 18 years of age
