WHAT YOU'LL DO:


This position interfaces with customers, suppliers, sales staff, and plant personnel on a daily basis to facilitate and efficient, timely, and accurate order fulfillment process and promote customer satisfaction.

Primary emphasis is on communication between the plant and both internal and external customers.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Work closely with production, administration, sales, and yard staff in order to maintain order fulfillment objectives of the company. Act as a change agent for continuous improvements.
  • Assist the Plant Manager and/or Production Manager in the development and implementation of efficient and effective daily production planning/scheduling in order to maintain production and fulfillment goals. Communicate production schedules to production staff in a timely and effective manner.
  • Analyze data from the production reports to identify possible improvements, reduce losses and the number/frequency of breakdowns.
  • Monitor inventories, review forecasts & previous orders, and place purchase orders for accurate quantities of raw materials based on projected customer and production requirements in order to keep inventory current and fulfillment on time. Assist with set physical inventories.
  • Report, investigate, and address any issues that would cause disruption to production or fulfillment immediately.
  • Generate pick tickets, delivery tickets, pallet labels, and other applicable delivery documents. Set and maintain efficient dispatch schedule for deliveries, as needed. Contact and schedule contract haulers, if required.
  • Scan completed and signed delivery tickets. Sort and match pick tickets and delivery tickets daily.
  • Ensure all raw materials received are counted accurately and have met quality standards through inspections.
  • Responsible for accurately entering orders, daily transfers, materials received products, daily production and inventory counts into the MAS 500 ERP system on a timely basis.
  • Provide customer service and support of incoming calls and callin and walkin customers as required. Address customer issues quickly and effectively in a diplomatic manner.
  • Enter customer orders and provide order support/updates to customers, as needed.
  • Communication with corporate staff to address issues, authorize bills, learn about new products, etc.
  • Perform all tasks/projects with accuracy and organized documentation.
  • Optimize efficiency, productivity, and equipment performance in order to meet objectives.
  • Develop, implement, and verify standard operating procedures (SOP) for all jobrelated tasks. Provide SOP training.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with company employees, suppliers, and customers. Promote and maintain the professional image and reputation of the company and ensure timely problem resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by TCC Materials Management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to quickly establish credibility to develop and maintain excellent business relations both internally and externally.
  • Selfmotivated with demonstrated ability to work successfully without close supervision.
  • Must be able to follow instructions and adhere to all the company's safety policy procedures and recommendation.
  • Must be proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) and ERP systems.
  • Technical or Associate's degree required. Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or manufacturing preferred.
  • At least 25 years related experience in the construction supply business preferred.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak in English.

$ $24.00 per hour
