- Investigating potential cases
- Drafting complaints
- Managing discovery, including drafting discovery requests and responses, preparing discovery‐related motions, and analyzing productions
- Drafting motions for class certification, briefs in opposition to dispositive motions, and trial briefing
- Taking, defending, and supporting depositions
- Working closely with co-counsel to coordinate all aspects of litigation
- Appearing in court as needed
- 3 to 5 years of legal experience
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with co-workers, co-counsel, clients, opposing counsel, and judges
- Excellent legal writing and research skills
- Curiosity and ability to both receive and provide constructive feedback
- Willingness to travel when necessary for court appearances, depositions, etc.
- Judicial clerkship is preferred but not required
- Experience with (or interest in) class actions or other complex litigation, specifically including: antitrust, securities, healthcare litigation, consumer protection, whistleblower/false-claims, and multidistrict litigation.

- Two writing samples for which you had primary responsibility with respect to style and content—as opposed to samples that were edited heavily by professors, judges, or other lawyers. Each writing sample should be accompanied by a one-paragraph summary stating the circumstances under which the sample was drafted and what the sample conveys about you as a writer. We encourage at least one writing sample from something of interest to the candidate, regardless of whether it is law-related or not.
