    Job Title: Litigation Associate

    Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States

    Job Type: Full-time

    Job Description: The firm is a leading global law firm, is currently seeking highly qualified mid to senior level attorneys to join our Litigation practice group in Chicago. As a Litigation Associate, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of complex litigation matters, collaborating with a team of experienced attorneys and contributing to the success of high-profile cases.

    Responsibilities:

    • Handle all aspects of litigation, including legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, conducting discovery, attending court hearings, and participating in trial preparation.
    • Work closely with partners and senior associates to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
    • Analyze legal issues and provide sound advice to clients on litigation matters.
    • Conduct depositions, witness interviews, and case investigations as necessary.
    • Assist with client communications and maintain regular updates on case developments.

    Requirements:

    • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
    • Admission to the Illinois State Bar and in good standing.
    • Minimum of three to six years of litigation experience, preferably in a law firm setting.
    • Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear and persuasive legal documents.
    • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
    • Strong academic credentials, including a demonstrated record of academic achievement.
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
    • Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, integrity, and client service excellence.
