- Continue to build strong working relationships with our existing customers that further increase potential business opportunities.
- Operate as the lead point of contact to the customer by providing support and responding to requests and customer inquiries.
- Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of products according to customer needs.
- Maintain databases with current and accurate customer information.
- Continuously increase knowledge of company products, services, and procedures.
- Work in team environment, communicating as required with all personnel.
- Attend tradeshows and customer sales meetings as requested.
- Experience working within an industrial manufacturing distribution company is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in customer service, account management, inside/outside sales or product support position is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret 2d prints is a plus.
- Ability to learn technical product information and transfer knowledge to customers.
- Direct telephone selling experience is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office products.
- Experience in Sage 50 is a plus
