    Description

    Our elite global Law Firm client is seeking to recruit a Professional Development Manager to develop and execute multi-level training, learning and professional development programs for Associates in the corporate finance practice. JD and prior corporate attorney practice experience is required.

    Responibilities:

    • Develop and execute multi-level training, learning and professional development programs for Associates in the corporate finance practice
    • Assist staffing partners on workload management, staff utilization and assisgning attorneys to new matters
    • Solicit feedback from Associates and consistently evalute and fine-tune training programs
    • Work with individual Associates to understand professional development goals
    • Assist with performance reviews
    • Assist with creating events to promote inter-department collaboration and communication
    • Manage the first-year and lateral Associate onboarding process
    • Assist with special projects as needed

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree and JD required
    • 4+ years practicing law in a corporate finance, securities or capital markets legal practice
    • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, business writing and presentation
    • Keen interest in professional development, career coaching and legal training
    • Strong project management and project delivery skills
    • Highly motivated, intellectually curious and strong attention to detail
    • Ability to work flexible and overtime hours as required
