    JOB SUMMARY

    Microfabrica is an advanced technology company and the world leader in 3D micro-scale additive manufacturing, providing the only high volume, micro-scale, additive manufacturing platform on the market that yields complex metal structures and assemblies at a scale not previously possible.


    As a R&D Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and optimization of our microfabrication processes.

    This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a team that is pioneering advancements in the semiconductor industry.

    Responsibilities

    Support the development of new processes and products using microfabrication and MEMS techniques
    Become hands expert on operating all the cleanroom equipment, including lithography, electroplating and planarization
    Perform experiments in the cleanroom, collects data and analyzes results to draw meaningful conclusions and presents results to team members
    Drive continuous process improvement efforts for the existing processes and products
    Creates work instructions and trains operators

    JOB QUALIICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
    Minimum four-year degree in Physics, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Material Science.
    Familiarity with and understanding of microfabrication technologies, including photolithography, electroplating, metrology and/or planarization


    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
    Demonstrated ability to operate and troubleshoot process equipment in cleanroom
    Mechanical design and 3D CAD (preferably SolidWorks) experience supporting development of process equipment and tooling
    Application of Lean Six Sigma principles such as DMAIC, Continuous Improvement, and Gage R&R studies, etc.

    DEMONSTRATED SKILLS & ABILITIES

    Thorough understanding of basic physics and chemistry
    Hands-on mindset to use cleanroom equipment and perform experiments
    Understanding and familiarity with data collection and statistical analysis techniques
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to write technical specifications and procedures
    Ability to prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends
