    Stefanini is looking for a Senior Analytical Chemist in Glenview, IL (Onsite)

    This position in our Glenview, IL - The Company's Innovation Center involves applying foundational knowledge of chemistry, biochemistry, chromatography and mass spectrometry.

    The industrial challenges are to measure and characterize small molecules to biopolymers in areas such as ingredient authenticity and provenance; food safety threats such as pathogens; This is an ideal opportunity for a laboratory-focused scientist who enjoys integrating laboratory findings into cohesive explanations of what is happening at the molecular level in food ingredients and processing.

    The successful candidate will develop project objectives and strategies in response to business initiatives, executing against same and recommending action plans to implement key findings.

    The candidate will have significantly impact on direction and quality of work done by other senior technical people.
    The candidate should have aptitudes for application and maintenance of complex analytical instrumentation.
    Will interact with equipment/instrument manufacturers, external lab partners, suppliers.
