Cyclopure is a material science and engineering company that is commercializing a series of novel cyclodextrin-based adsorbents, known by the tradename DEXSORB, for the monitoring, treatment, and remediation of micropollutants like PFAS from water.

• Assemble, condition, and process Cyclopure Water Test Kits. The Water Test Kits are designed to extract PFAS from water using our DEXSORB media at the site of sample collection using solidphase extraction procedures.
• Utilize EPA methods 537, 533, and 1633 to prepare a diverse array of water samples for analysis by LC-MS/MS.
• Prepare standards and spiking solutions for our PFAS workflows.
• Utilize PFAS handling best practices to prevent personal exposure and control laboratory contamination.
• Assist with our nonPFAS analytical workflows as time permits. For example, helping prepare samples for volatiles analysis to assess impurities in our media.
• Coordinate with others to ensure smooth laboratory operations and ask for help when needed.
• Support the development and implementation of new analytical methods to meet the needs of our engineers, materials scientists, and consumer products teams. This may involve solidphase extraction, supported liquid extraction, sonication, direct injections on HPLC, or other techniques.
• Use a fine attention to detail to consistently deliver quality work, address potential issues as they arise, and identify ways to improve existing processes to make them more robust and efficient.
• Learn to operate and perform basic maintenance procedures on our three stateoftheart analytical instruments under the supervision of the VP of Analytical Chemistries. Our instruments include a Q Exactive Orbitrap HRAM LC-MS, TSQ Quantis Plus triple quad LC-MS, and a TSQ 9000 triple quad GC-MS.
• Review chromatography data using the Chromeleon CDS.
• Abide by our chemical hygiene plan when in the laboratory and attend ongoing safety refresher training.
