    Description

    We are excited to announce an extraordinary opportunity as the Senior Association Director of Grants and Contractsto make a positive impact while contributing to the growth and success of the YMCA.

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director of Grants and Contracts to join our team in this hybrid position .

    The Senior Director of Grants and Contract will play a key role in securing funding to support the YMCA's mission and programs.

    This individual will be responsible for researching individual, foundation, and governmental funding opportunities, while also developing grant proposals, and cultivating relationships with funders to maximize support for our initiatives.

    The ideal candidate will have a passion for the Y's mission and be dedicated to helping expand our capacity to serve.

    This position will have a direct impact on the organization's ability to raise and renew contributed revenue in support of the strategic plan.


    Bachelor's degree and fundraising certification a plus
    Minimum of 5 years' experience with non-profit grant writing
    Experience in public and private proposal writing and reporting
    Strong ability to write clear, structured, articulate, and persuasive proposals
    Ability to attend public grant meetings and provide input on grant requirements
    Knowledge of fundraising information sources and systems

    Demonstrated superb organizational skills; diligent attention to detail and the ability to manage, plan, track and complete long-range project deadlines and goals.
