Minimum Qualifications:


Education:


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Experience:


  • 2 years experience in finance, accounting, higher ed administration, grant accounting and management or related field.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


  • Strong analytical and accounting skills.
  • Detailoriented; highly organized; and have skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with administrators, and faculty.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Selfmotivated; and ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to exercise good judgement.
  • Ability to work independently within a team and in a fastpaced environment.

Preferences:


Preferences:


  • Knowledge of basic cost accounting principles and the 2CFR200.
  • Direct experience with government funding agencies such as NIH, NSF, and DoD.
  • Experience working with electronic proposal submission programs, such as ASSIST, , , NSPIRES, and sciENcv.
  • Working knowledge of Priority BA, KFS, PHR, Workday, and Concur.
