    Remote work is available for this role; however, candidates must reside within the Greater Seattle area and be able to attend meetings or work from the Seattle corporate office on occasion.

With outstanding communication skills and a sense of empathy, you work well with everyone from outdoorspeople to managers to technicians and operators.

    You are a seasoned professional with 7-10 years of experience in compensation and benefits, and some experience with payroll. This experience includes hands-on management of health and welfare programs, 401(k) plans, and compensation programs. Additionally, your experience includes advanced proficiency in Excel and three years of supervisory experience. A bachelor's degree is preferred but can be substituted for experience.

    What the job is: The Total Rewards Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining the Company's total rewards - compensation and benefits, plus supporting responsibilities of payroll and HRIS. This position will have three direct reports: an HRIS analyst and two payroll/benefits associates. The position works closely with the VP of HR & IT and the HR Manager, who is a peer to this position, advises and trains other members of the HR department, and works regularly with managers throughout the Company. The Company has locations in WA, OR, CA, MT, and the US SE.

    As the Total Rewards Manager you will:

    • Own the benefits program. Based on market trends and employee feedback, you will recommend changes.
    • Manage the annual benefits renewal and open enrollment processes.
    • Ensure compliance with law, regulation, and company policy, such as maintaining documentation, audits, and filings. Some of this you will actively participate in, and some you will delegate.
    • Develop and update educational materials for employees and the HR Team, deliver training as needed.
    • Oversee the HRIS, electronic data interfaces, and reporting. Collaborate with HR and third-party administrators to ensure HRIS and benefit processes meet organizational and legal requirements.
    • Manage payroll processing and compliance.
    • Spearhead compensation program improvements and market pricing activities.
    • Lead Total Rewards team, developing staff, ensuring procedures are documented and followed, employees are cross-trained, and continue to be engaged.

Geographically distributed, the department leverages tools like Microsoft Teams and Asana for collaboration and maintaining team connections.

    Compensation: Annual Salary Range: $116,000 - $173,000 per year. The pay range listed is just one component of Green Diamond's total compensation package. Other rewards include eligibility to receive a company-wide annual financial performance bonus, and the opportunity to receive an individual performance-based bonus, candidate referral bonuses, and spot bonuses.

Paid time off includes nine designated and up to two floating (personal) holidays, minimum ten days' vacation (or per policy based on experience), ten days sick leave, 30 days parental leave, three days bereavement, jury duty, one volunteer day, and five days family care.
