    Description

    Objective of Position

    This position, reporting to the Controller, is responsible for the handling of monthly accounting duties including but not limited to invoicing and monitoring accounts receivable and cash, updating and reconciling general account balances such as fixed assets and prepaid accounts, and responding to information needs.

    Essential Functions: Accounting Operations
    • Invoice grants and other contracts
    • update cash flow projections
    • Prepare monthly account analyses, journal entries and reconciliations (prepaid assets, payroll, accrued liabilities and fixed assets and any other reconciliations/analyses as assigned)
    • Assist in the preparation of annual financial and compliance audits
    • Assist with preparing tax return data, property tax exemptions and corporate reporting requirements as assigned
    • Provide financial information as requested by management to appropriate parties
    • Other special projects and duties as assigned

    Salary: $77,040-$99,003/yr.

    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
    • Five plus years of related accounting and finance experience; knowledge of non-profit accounting is preferred
    • Experienced systems knowledge including accounting and payroll system applications including Excel spreadsheets; preferred knowledge of Acumatica and Paycom systems
    • Excellent communication skills with ability to clearly disseminate financial information with a logical approach
    • Attention to detail and follow-through
    • Ability to work independently on multiple projects
    • Professional demeanor and positive customer service orientation
