    Annual Compensation Range: $70,000-$85,000

    We have an opening for an Inside Sales Specialist. This person will serve in a critical site-based role accountable for accelerating the growth of the business through execution of inside selling practices and support of the broader new business acquisition team and process, from active prospecting, through customer, lead & opportunity qualification, through quoting, and management of specified customer relationships throughout the product and relationship lifecycle. The position will be assigned targets related to new business generation, along with other measures of inside selling performance and effectiveness overall. Further, the role will serve as a support function to the Business Development team for specific activities identified below.

    Responsibilities:
    • Achieve selling targets through active prospecting for new business, the effective use of both outbound calling and email methods.
    • Perform lead qualification and follow up through direct customer interaction, presentation of Biocoat products and services.
    • Provide input into assignment of leads and customer segmentation process and direct opportunity management as assigned.
    • Facilitate the new business quoting process, from RFQ request through direct quote generation. This requires coordination of internal resources involved in costing and pricing, price approvals, quote generation, and quotation submittal to customers.
    • Manage the overall NDA execution process with direct interaction with Customers, Company Counsel, Business Development team and internal approvers.
    • Support Business Development team through Customer Contract execution process and tracking of contract status.
    • Act as single point of contact for assigned customers (Inside Sales Customers). Focus is on driving new product development funnel, revenue, and client retention by building consultative relationships.
    • Directly participate in the demand forecasting and revenue planning process. This includes working with customers to understand demand forecasts and the state of commercialization.
    • Develop and manage Account Strategies/Growth plans for specified customers.
    • Act as Business Development representative for assigned customers during Application Development engagements/meetings.
    • Communicate with Biocoat Customer Service, as needed, through order management process on behalf of Business Development Team.
    • Support Business Development Team with miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
    • Liaise with Marketing team related to lead management, campaigns and other initiatives.
    Skills & Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
    • Four or more years of demonstrated inside or outside sales experience within medical device, bio/pharmaceutical or chemical industry is required. Hydrophilic Coatings experience preferred.
    • Successful sales history and demonstrated success in managing long sales cycle (6-18 mos.) with business to business selling experience required.
    • Scientific acumen - understanding chemistry, coatings, and medical devices.
    • Proven experience with inbound and outbound prospecting via phone, Teams/Zoom and email communication.
    • Proven ability to understand customer industry and business needs and offer unique and innovative solutions.
    • Able to work independently and to flourish in a hands-on, high growth, dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
    • Strong influence, relationship building, communication, and negotiation skills.
    • Experience developing and managing customer projects.
    • Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams.
    • Ensures all interactions are consistent with company values.
    • Must be proficient in utilization of , or equivalent CRM tool.
    • Ability to travel up to 10%. Overnight travel is required.
