I am an accomplished professional with a diverse background in healthcare, retail, and customer service. I was recently employed at CVS Health as a Healthcare Concierge, where I have excelled in preparing training materials, collaborating with leadership, and consistently exceeding sales goals. As a subject-matter expert for programs, pilots, services, and products, I have built a supportive virtual care concierge team and facilitated the onboarding of new care concierges. I have also cultivated and maintained relationships across different in-store teams to foster a one team mindset, and strategized with direct leadership to increase engagement, prevent employee turnover, and support the divisional mentorship program. I am proud to have received numerous accolades, including the 2021 Divisional Paragon Award for outstanding results in delivering the company’s mission by helping people on their path to better health.
In my previous roles at Starbucks as a Coffee Master & Trainer and H&R Block as a Quality Sales Specialist & Client Service Professional Trainer, I demonstrated strong leadership skills in team building, coaching, mentoring, change management, communication, and conflict resolution. My computer skills include dashboarding reporting, prescription price management systems, retail POS, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
I have also held several leadership positions, including Training Lead, CVS Market Captain, Regional Mentor, and Program Captain for CVS Health in Philadelphia. Through my experience and leadership, I have proven to be a highly effective and dedicated professional with a passion for delivering exceptional results.
Education
I recently graduated from Saint Joseph's University with a Master of Science in Organizational Development and leadership. Throughout my program, I had three main learning goals and objectives.
My first goal was to gain knowledge and apply the history, theories, values, ethics, processes, and practices of Organization Development to my workplace, communities, and personal life. To achieve this, I had several objectives, including the ability to conduct assessments, build relationships, and intervene for positive human impact at the individual, group, and organization levels of the system. I also practiced and assessed the use of dialogical models, feedback, coaching, and simulations designed to transform individuals and effect change in organizations. Additionally, I examined the influence of organizational culture on behavior change.
My second goal was to develop interpersonal and leadership competencies for lifelong learning in myself and others. I achieved this by using recommended models of leadership such as emotional intelligence, situational leadership, whole brain theory, neuroscience, among others to document growth in self-awareness. I demonstrated self-awareness through learning activities, critical reflection, and demonstrating knowledge grounded in current research and models of leadership development like emotional intelligence, situational leadership, whole brain theory, neuroscience, among others. I also described and demonstrated knowledge of the relationships between learning, leadership, and change.
Lastly, I aimed to respect, value, and demonstrate academic research and writing. To do so, I completed a capstone that centered around leadership style, team performance, and the importance of training.
