    Job Title: Workout Credit Officer

    Corporate Title: Vice President

    Overview:

    As a Workout Credit Officer specializing in credit risk management, you'll play a crucial role in the success of Deutsche Bank's Lending franchise. Working closely with Workout colleagues, you will analyze transactions from underperforming clients or distressed situations, manage a diverse portfolio, and participate in regulatory audits, ensuring adherence to credit policies, governance, data quality, and regulatory reporting.

    What You'll Do:

    • Analyze credit requests in various sectors including leverage lending, commercial real estate, and more, provide recommendations to senior management, and ensure compliance with lending policies
    • Engage with auditors and regulatory authorities, manage credit approval documentation, and oversee portfolio monitoring
    • Lead individual transactions, provide guidance to junior officers, and drive projects for credit process improvement

    How You'll Lead:

    • Lead deal teams, offer training to junior officers, and spearhead projects for credit process enhancement
    • Collaborate with stakeholders and contribute to regulatory adaptations

    Skills You'll Need:

    • Degree in accounting, finance, or economics with extensive credit analysis experience
    • Understanding of leveraged market, credit structures, and commercial banking products
    • Proficiency in financial modeling, credit risk analysis, and knowledge of various banking products

    Skills That Will Help You Excel:

    • Effective communication skills, experience in distressed credit situations, and exposure to diverse industry verticals
    • Familiarity with commercial real estate and regulatory standards
    • Knowledge of derivative structures and commercial banking products

    Expectations:

    Employees in this role are expected to work from the New York office following the Bank's hybrid working model.
