- Manage entire product lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
- Establishes marketing strategies including product direction, advertising, packaging, pricing, expense budgets, profit plans and future product development to manage a product or product category's life cycle
- Develop Product Requirements (ORD) for each product line
- Develops and evaluates pricing strategies and structures
- Interfaces with engineers, designers, suppliers and customers to develop product requirements and specifications
- Conduct market research surveys and customer/prospect visits to understand and specific business requirements for target market segments
- Compiles and evaluates research on the market's product requirements and identifies enhancements to current features and functionality
- Demonstrated competency in executing strategic plans.
- Ability to learn needs of a wide range of employees while driving team performance, monitoring results and appropriately allocating resources.
- Experience and knowledge of functional tools and infrastructure.
- Understanding of metrics/dashboards that drive an environment and culture of continuous improvement.
- Progressive experience in leading employees in multiple locations, and significant experience developing and implementing solutions.
- Possesses problem-solving, collaboration, critical thinking, team building, and presentation skills.
- Results oriented and solution thinking with time management and project management skills.
- Displays leadership skills, leading by example, driving employee commitment through actions, and empowering employees to reach their full potential.
- Bachelor's degree in business marketing or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years in marketing and product management role
