The Department of Youth Services in Lawrence, PA is seeking to fill a position in the "Inclusive Education and Training" department, as part of the "Participation in the Federal Ministry of Education and Research's Education Communities Program" with a focus on Early Childhood Education Coordination.

This position is temporary and will be filled until August 2026.


The position can be filled on a part-time basis, with flexible working hours based on the needs of the department.

Applicants must have a completed university degree (FH-Diplom, Bachelor of Arts) in Social Sciences or Education and will be evaluated according to pay grade 12 TVöD-V.

The Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) is promoting the development of data-based educational management.

A key focus of the new ESF Plus program "Education Communities" is the establishment of digitally and analogously networked educational landscapes for lifelong learning.

Education communities also choose specific thematic priorities, such as cultural education, democracy education/political education, education for sustainable development, securing skilled workers/education in structural change, integration through education, or inclusion.


With the participation in the "Education Community" project, the goal in Dortmund is to initiate a broad process of strengthening inclusion.

The aim is to develop an inclusive vision for the Dortmund educational landscape in the context of integrated educational and youth welfare planning across departments.
