- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports, including footnotes and supporting schedules, for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Research and interpret accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Assist with the implementation of new accounting standards and procedures, as necessary.
- Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting, preferably in the energy industry.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
