- Manage the configuration of hardware inventory, documentation, product releases, and software for EM Systems Programs.
- Track and document the status of engineering change documentation.
- Maintain configuration status accounting using Government-provided Configuration Management Systems.
- Perform physical and functional configuration audits to ensure product designs are accurately documented and baselines are verified.
- Recommend policies, and define and implement procedures for releasing new products throughout the products' entire life cycle.
- A Bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited college or university with ten (10) years configuration management working experience.
- Experience providing services in a team environment or working with the public.
- Excellent oral and written communications, analytical, and organizational skills
- A U.S. citizen and have eligibility for a security clearance
- Experience working with the Department of the Navy is a plus
- Experience with NSWC Crane's Integrated Product Data Management System is a plus.
- Active SECRET security clearance is a plus

McLaughlin Research Corporation has an exciting opportunity for a Configuration Management Specialist to support the Electromagnetic Systems Department (Code 34) of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) in Newport, Rhode Island. The qualified candidate will be part of a team that enables the conceptualization, modernization, and maintenance of systems that ensure our Navy's undersea superiority.
