- Gather, track, and analyze Quality KPI data.
- Manage the tracking of Customer and Supplier Scorecards.
- Assist with the timed improvement of the IATF 16949 Quality Management System.
- Review key product and process documentation ensuring customer requirements have been accurately transferred down through operator instructions.
- Manage process improvement and projects related to quality processes improvements.
- Participate in the design, development and testing of new and existing products and equipment.
- Drive improvement in customer complaint handling using the 8D process.
- Conduct ongoing analyses of products and processes to identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiencies.
- Work with operations to drive towards the divisional scrap goal.
- Perform Statistical and Root Cause Analysis.
- Participate in other quality activities as assigned.
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in engineering or related field
- Incoming Junior or Senior preferred with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
- Excellent mechanical aptitude
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect and analyze data
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and recommend solutions.
- Excellent time management skills and project management abilities
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.
- Ability to accurately read prints, specifications, procedures, FMEAs, and control plans
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with quality management systems is a plus
- Knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes is a plus
- Must be able to move freely, with or without accommodation, throughout the manufacturing environment
