    General Responsibilities:

    As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you'll collaborate closely with Manufacturing Engineers and Associates to enhance processes on the manufacturing floor.

    Your key responsibilities include analyzing activities, testing new methods, and implementing improved processes for existing and new product launches.


    Specific Duties:
    Identify and enhance ineffective processes and procedures on the manufacturing floor.
    Research and develop new processes for current and future products.
    Review written procedures affected by changes in processes or standards.
    Make process and equipment recommendations, focusing on flow, ergonomics, and error-proofing practices.
    Maintain a clean and safe environment for Associates.
    Work with the Launch Team to define packaging and material handling methods, addressing ergonomics and product preservation.
    Challenge current standards, procedures, and practices to improve manufacturing efficiency and safety.
    Design Work Center layouts and floor plans for optimal material flow.
    Implement lean manufacturing tools to remove waste from processes.
    Pursue and implement corrective actions for quality based on external concerns and scrap Paretos.
    Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
    Prepare and present a summary of internship projects to the Management team. Requirements Working toward a Degree in Manufacturing Engineering.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
    Excellent interpersonal skills.
