    Marsh McLennan is seeking an Internal Communications Manager within it's Global Controllership team. Global Controllership is the largest community in the Finance Group and are purposed with delivering timely and accurate reporting of Marsh McLennan's financials consolidated from over 100 jurisdictions around the world.

    This is a hybrid role with 3 days in our midtown Manhattan office. The role will report to the Internal Communications Lead and be part of a team of diverse and highly talented professionals who are dedicated to partnering with colleagues across all business areas to drive the company's priorities through clear, concise and effective communication strategies.

    What can you expect?

    • Partner with senior leaders in Controllership and Finance to develop, support and execute communications and change management programs that support key strategic projects and transformation initiatives
    • Draft and develop messages, scripts, PowerPoint presentations and videos on behalf of members of senior leadership in their respective tone of voice
    • Be agile in applying your skills, serving as an excellent writer, stakeholder manager, project manager, influencer, creative thinker and storyteller
    • Convert complex concepts and information into clear, compelling communications that resonate with internal audiences using words and visuals
    • Manage editorial planning, communications calendar and programming for internal communications channels, including the Controllership community intranet site

    We will count on you to:

    • Support the development and execution of the internal communications and change management strategy on behalf of the Global Controllership and Finance teams.
    • Work collaboratively in a team environment and interact closely with project managers, business leaders and global stakeholders to meet multiple daily deadlines
    • Drive colleague engagement across the Global Controllership and Finance communities and create new initiatives that align to our organizational priorities
    • Regularly publish content on multiple communication vehicles (intranet, newsletters, email, Yammer, etc.) to ensure on-time, accurate delivery and availability of fresh, updated content

    What you need to have:

    • Minimum Bachelor's degree
    • Communications professional with a minimum of 5-7 years related experience in communications and change management creating compelling content and programs utilizing a variety of tactics and channels, including video, PowerPoint presentations, emails, town halls and virtual events
    • Demonstrable project management skills, including ability to manage several initiatives/events at once
    • Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver for multiple leaders
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including active listening, ability to communicate with confidence and ability to influence or persuade others with facts and critical thinking
    • Advanced computer literacy on Microsoft suite of applications particularly in PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint

    The applicable base salary range for this role is $77,500 to $155,000.

    The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
