    Fully Licensed Mental Health Therapist Wanted - University Counseling Center in Delray Beach, FL.

    We are a thriving university counseling center committed to supporting the mental health and well-being of our student community.

    Our team of licensed therapists plays a vital role in providing comprehensive mental health services and fostering a campus environment conducive to personal growth and academic success.

    We offer a sign-on bonus to licensed therapists who join our team.


    Job Type:
    Full-time position with regular business hours, occasional evenings, and flexibility during peak periods.


    Job Setting:
    Our university counseling center offers a dynamic and collaborative environment, working closely with students, faculty, and staff. You will primarily work on campus, utilizing state-of-the-art facilities and resources.


    What You'll Do:
    Conduct intake assessments and screenings to evaluate students' mental health needs and determine appropriate treatment options.
    Provide short-term individual counseling and crisis intervention services to students dealing with a variety of concerns.
    Facilitate therapy groups and workshops on topics relevant to student well-being and development.
    Collaborate with campus partners, including academic advisors, residential life staff, and student organizations, to promote holistic student support.
    Participate in outreach and prevention efforts, such as mental health awareness campaigns and wellness events.
    Maintain accurate and confidential records, adhering to ethical and legal guidelines.


    How to Qualify:


    Hold a current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

    Possess a master's degree or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
    Strong understanding of the unique challenges and mental health concerns facing college students.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students and collaborate with a diverse campus community.
    Knowledge of evidence-based practices and brief therapy models suitable for a university counseling center setting.
    Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage a diverse caseload.


    Compensation and Benefits:
    Competitive salary range of $60,000-$75,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
