My name is Mosengwe Beatrice Maila.I graduated with a degree in Culinary Arts, Food, and Beverage Management in South Africa in 2004. I have worked in various food establishments as well as hospitals during my internship. Throughout my career, I have explored different types of diets for patients, using food guidelines similar to my plate guidelines in the USA. In addition, as a recent graduate with a degree in Human Nutrition, I am passionate about promoting health and well-being through nutrition. During my program at Nova, I gained knowledge in various areas, including nutrition across different life stages, medical therapy, sports nutrition, mental health, and public health. As a professional chef, I believe that teaching practical cooking methods aligned with nutrition guidelines can positively impact dietary choices. Additionally, I aspire to become a dietitian to further assist our community in achieving optimal health
