    Job Description

    Lead Product Development process, for all PVE products, in supplier evaluation, definition of product spec., development of test plans, competitive product testing and analysis, and patent clearance.

    Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, and designers, to integrate electrical systems into overall product designs.

    Troubleshoot and debug electrical systems, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.

    Work with sales/engineering/manufacturing to develop and launch new Product offerings which meet Quality, Cost, and Delivery goals.

    Present updates and new product suggestions on an ongoing basis.

    Assure supplier (and sub-suppliers) have manufacturing process capability and capacity to meet requirements.

    Responsible for confirmation of working prototypes, engineering samples, and pilot lot samples meeting all requirements.

    Evaluate and resolve safety concerns, both internal company standards and safety listing agencies.

    Responsible for executing the Milestone Process and communicating project status/updates as required.

    Work closely with Production to ensure that all the manufacturing procedures are followed.

    Engineering background is preferred.

    Headquartered in South Florida, PVE currently manufactures four versions of its air driven residential elevators, ranging from single to a three-passenger, wheelchair-accessible home elevator. All of PVE's vacuum home lift systems are capable of up to a 50 foot (15m) vertical rise over as many as five stops. The unique design of the vacuum residential elevator is a perfect choice for any retrofit or new construction project and will enhance the value of one's home without the consuming footprint of a traditional home elevator. These innovative home elevator do not require any pre-construction shaft, pit or machine room and can be installed in as little as two to three days. By using a vacuum pump to generate areas of higher and lower atmospheric pressure within the cylinder hoist way, the unit smoothly moves between floors while using much less energy than other home elevators.
