    Temporary Onboarding Specialist, Onsite in Bedford, MA

    We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Onboarding Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition team. The Onboarding Specialist will play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for new hires as they transition into our company. From managing the onboarding process in our HRIS system to leading day one orientation, the Onboarding Specialist will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the onboarding journey.

    Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions

    Candidate Hiring in HRIS System:

    • Utilize our HRIS system to manage the hiring process for new candidates, ensuring accurate and timely data entry.
    • Collaborate with hiring managers and HR partners to facilitate a smooth transition from candidate selection to onboarding.
    • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies throughout the onboarding process.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our HRIS system and other relevant documentation.

    Onboarding Process Management:

    • Coordinate the launch of the onboarding process for new hires, including the distribution and completion of new hire paperwork.
    • Serve as the main point of contact for new hires, providing guidance and support throughout the onboarding process.
    • Monitor the progress of onboarding tasks and follow up with relevant stakeholders to ensure completion within designated timelines.

    Day One Orientation Leadership:

    • Lead day one orientation sessions for new hires, providing them with essential information about our company culture, policies, and procedures.
    • Facilitate introductions between new hires and key team members, fostering a sense of belonging and integration into the organization.
    • Collect feedback from new hires to continuously improve the onboarding experience.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, related field or experience.
    • Proven experience in talent acquisition or HR, with a focus on onboarding and employee orientation/experience.
    • Strong understanding of HRIS systems and proficiency in MS Office suite.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • This position is site-based and requires a presence on-site three days per week.
