    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Provide daily utilization oversight and communicate externally with network physicians and hospitals
    • Conduct peer-to-peer conversations for clinical case reviews as needed
    • Collaborate with Client Services Team to ensure coordinated delivery of services
    • Represent Optum at appropriate levels and establish relationships with other thought leaders
    • Ensure appropriate resolution of queries regarding patient case management

    Required Qualifications:

    • Board certification as an MD, DO, MBBS with a current unrestricted license
    • 3+ years of post-residency patient care

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Understanding of population-based medicine and CMS criteria for post-acute care
    • Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment and handle multiple tasks
    • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills

    *All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy

    California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: Salary range $286,104 to $397,743 annually.
