    Job DescriptionScion Staffing has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced
    Data Analyst for our client, a highly regarded University in
    San Francisco This is a wonderful remote, part-time, 4â??5-month contract opportunity to join an inspiring as well as mission-driven team


    Perks:

    What youâ?TMll be doing:

    • Utilize advanced SQL skills to retrieve complex data sets from institutional databases.
    • Employ Python, especially Pandas, to analyze, validate, and categorize large datasets comprising up to a million rows.
    • Develop scripts to programmatically validate reporting results, identifying and flagging potential inconsistencies using statistical methods.
    • Leverage strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, built in functions, and charting, to manipulate and present data effectively.
    • Utilize Tableau to design and implement visualized and interactive reporting dashboards, enhancing data visualization and accessibility.
    • Abstract information requirements from real world data requests, ensuring clarity and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
    • Utilize PowerPoint and Word to create comprehensive data reports, effectively communicating insights and findings to stakeholders.

    What you need to be successful:

    • 23 years of work experience in data analysis to inform decisionmaking processes and optimize data management strategies.
    • Higher education/institution experience is a plus

    Compensation:


    Pay rate of $29/hour and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and voluntary life insurance, an employee assistance plan (EAP), and commuter and transit benefits for those who are working on average 30 or more hours per week.
