    Minimum of 5 year(s) of experience in Human resources either recruitment or
    classification. OR AA/HS Degree
    Federal HR experience is preferred, but not required.
    Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel
    Microsoft Teams

    Duties:
    This position performs human resources support duties for the National Mall and
    Memorial Parks. Work entails a variety of assigned activities, such as preparing
    documents for classification, drafting preliminary position descriptions,
    updating organization charts, and data entry. Ensures accuracy and completeness
    of work products, including format, grammar, and punctuation.
    Assists managers in coordinating the recertification of position
    descriptions that are older than 5 years and working with program managers to
    develop position descriptions for vacant positions. Ensure each position number
    has a classified position description. 70%
    Create index of park position numbers and position descriptions and indicate
    expiration date for each position description. 10%
    Coordinate consolidation of park organizational codes as it pertains to
    position descriptions. Prepare and submit position description amendments as
    needed. 20%
