- Store visits
- Meet with store/grocery managers to educate them on our brand and products
- Merchandising in stores following the Planogram
- Ensure merchandise in each store is accurate
- Doing demonstrations and sampling events in stores
- Taking and sending pictures of store displays to Regional Sales Manager

- Act as a client advocate with a focus on improving the buyer experience
- Increase brand awareness by educating them on our brand and products
- Engage with prospective and existing customers in a professional and friendly manner

- Strategic Accounts include:
- Basic understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety Standards.
- Follow food safety management procedures (including HACCP and ISO and maintain clear and accurate records.
- Must have 2+ years of positive working history and relationships with NY Metro DSD network and strategic accounts
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to travel
- Friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality
- Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills, active listening.
- Proactive attitude with a balanced approach to customer satisfaction and internal teamwork.

- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- 2+ years' experience in Sales and/or Account Management (required)
- 2+ years' experience in the food industry (preferred)
- Microsoft Office Suite, & CRM Software
- Ability to learn and utilize 3rd party online database systems as necessary

Reporting Structure: Northeast Regional Sales Manager
Job Type: Full-time; Exempt (Salaried) plus 12% bonus
Work Schedule: Typical work week is Monday-Friday 8:30a-5p, however this position is customer based and hours are based on their availability. Trade shows and sales meetings may occur during evenings and weekends.
Work Location: Remote with 70-80% of the time spent in the field. 1 week per year on-site. Territory is all 5 boroughs of NY Metro and surrounding areas as needed.
Supervisory Responsibility: No supervisory responsibility
SUMMARY: The Sales Rep - NY Metro is the public face for Unique Snacks and is responsible for creating awareness, interacting with customers and developing new ways to market our products in the CPG marketplace. The ideal candidate will manage, develop, and maintain relationships with key distribution partners, retailers, and vendors in the NY Metro area. They will work closely with the internal sales and marketing teams to ensure successful business development.
