    Description

    Job Title:
    Staff Accountant

    Our client, a dynamic and growing manufacturing company, is seeking motivated individuals who are eager to advance in their accounting careers
    As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in various financial activities, contributing to the success of the organization
    This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and ready to take on diverse responsibilities.


    Staff Accountant Responsibilities:


    • 30% AR/Invoicing:
    • Manage accounts receivable processes, including timely and accurate invoicing.
    -
    20% Cash and
    Account Reconciliations:

    • Perform cash management activities and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.
    -
    40% Financial Analysis, Budgeting, and
    Close Assistance:

    • Conduct financial analysis, working with existing spreadsheets and financial statements.
    • Assist in budgeting processes.
    • Collaborate on monthend and yearend close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
    -
    10%
    Ad Hoc Projects:

    • Undertake special projects as needed to support the Controller.
    • Opportunity to grow into Audit support and other month/yearend close leadership roles.

    Preferred Experience for Staff Accountant applicants:

    • Bachelors degree in Accounting, or Accounting adjacent field
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ability to manipulate data effectively.
    • Experience with computer systems; familiarity with Business Central (a plus).
    • Knowledge of PowerBI is advantageous.
    • Ability to create financial analysis independently, working within existing spreadsheet structures.
    • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

    • Comfortable working in a pleasant and casual office environment.
    • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
