    J2T is in search of a seasoned Staff Accountant with a background in the restaurant/franchise industry. This crucial role plays a significant part in our client's operations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Generate franchise royalty invoices.
    • Supervise GL/AP accountant
    • Vendor communications.
    • Manage employee expenses and credit card reports.
    • Record month-end journal entries.
    • Prepare custom AR billings at month-end.
    • Collaborate with franchisees and their accountants to ensure timely and accurate monthly P&L submissions.
    • Aid in the year-end audit process.
    • Contribute to the annual budgeting process.
    • Ensure company internal controls and safeguards comply with accounting policies.

    Desired Skills:

    • Proficiency in Expensify is a must-have
    • Restaurant 365 and FranConnect are preferred.
    • 2+ years of experience in restaurant and franchising accounting.
    • Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
    • Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting financial data and trends.
    • Experience supervising AP or GL staff.
    • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
    • Proficient in Excel, including VLOOKUP's and Pivot tables.
