Description

Our client is seeking a Program Manager and Scheduler for a long-term contract opportunity.The Program Manager and Scheduler will serve as the principal line of communication for the project team.

DUTIES:

Develop and manage resource-loaded and leveled projects;
Maintain project metrics in accordance with established standards;
Maintain performance metrics;
Maintain highly complex or enterprise-wide program schedules consisting of multiple projects within the Project Management Office (PMO);
Serve as a project schedule liaison with project managers;
Provide progress updates regarding project schedule due dates to the PMO Bureau Chief;
Manage project spend plans;
Manage resource project schedules for associated projects of the PMO;
Maintain all project artifacts in accordance with PMO standards and other documentation as necessary to ensure compliance with Chapter 60GG-1, Client Administrative Code (F.A.C.);
Assist in business requirement gathering sessions for Joint Application Development (JADs);
Work closely with customers, stakeholders, and IT software developers to document business requirements;
Coordinate and develop As-Is, To-Be, and other required business analysis documentation;
Recommend and develop the implementation of business process improvement;
Follow a set of standard practices that ensure the integrity and quality of project artifacts;
Manage expectations of diverse stakeholders and provide regular briefings to the PMO Bureau Chief;
Assist in the development of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) templates; and
Work independently as part of a larger cross-functional team.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 10 years of IT work experience.
5+ years managing projects in multiple technology and business functions
Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience.
A bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related fields. Relevant experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis when applicable
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
5+ years managing successful, large-scale projects that include multiple diverse teams;
7+ or more years utilizing project software such as Microsoft Project, Planisware, Sciforma, Primavera, Jira, etc., to track and maintain complex projects;
5+ years developing and maintaining detailed project plans and schedules based on work breakdown structures;
5+ years of experience with PMO methodologies and documentation;
5+ years of experience with meeting facilitation and documentation;
5+ years creating and presenting internal and external status reports;
