Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Communication or other related field. Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with the Project Management Institute (PMI) is required.

Experience

1. 12 years of IT Program Management experience is required.

2. 15 years of professional experience in Information Systems, Business Administration, or Communications is required.

Experience with public speaking and communicating detailed information to large groups is required.
Experience working with SharePoint 365 is highly desired.

Primary Job Duties/ Tasks

The activities this candidate will be tasked with include, but are not limited to the following:

Manage and coordinate large, complex efforts to support IT initiatives, programs and projects.
Serve as strategic interface with business office staff for the purpose of business/IT strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management.
Communicate decisions, priorities and relevant program and project information to appropriate levels of staff regarding business office requests, programs, projects and initiatives.
Facilitate the planning and execution of business changes with technology solutions.
Serve as a lead role in enabling the business offices to achieve their objectives through the effective use of technology.
Understand and comply with the IT requirements outlined in Chapters 60GG-1 through 5, F.A.C.
Work with the program teams, project teams and vendors to collect program/project status, schedule updates, and identify and resolve conflicts.
Analyze, prepare, validate, and maintain cost estimates, detailed baseline budgets and monthly cost variance reports.
Update the program and project budgets and forecasts, perform cost variance analysis.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Project and Program Management:

Knowledge of the principles, methods, practices, tools and techniques outlined in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) (current version).
Knowledge of the principles, methods, practices, tools and techniques outlined in the PMI Standard for Program Management (current version).
Knowledge of various types of contracts, and development techniques for procurement documents such as; Requests for Quotes (RFQ), Requests for Purchase (RFP), Invitation to Bid (ITB), Invitation to Negotiate (ITN), and Single Source.
Skill in the use of the methods and tools used for risk assessment and mitigation of risks.
Ability to coordinate and manage programs, projects and resources from a high and discreet level, including cost, work, and Vendor performance.
Ability to categorize work, set priorities, and determine short and/or long-term goals and strategies to achieve them.
Ability to plan, organize, coordinate and prioritize work assignments;
Ability to put the ideologies, techniques, and tools into practice.

Business and Technical Capabilities:

Knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of the system development life cycle;
Knowledge of IT solutions for data infrastructure remediation, migration, and modernization needs;
Ability to work effectively with business staff to identify strategic opportunities and potential solutions;
Ability to interpret and communicate technical information related to business processes, computer programming and data processing, both verbally and in writing;
Ability to work with a broad range of diverse and complicated business offices.

Additional:

Advanced skills with Microsoft products:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.

Ability to relate to customers' needs, document their requirements and perform duties in the absence of staff;
Ability to receive and give constructive criticism, and maintain effective work relationships with others;
Ability to adjust to changing demands in a dynamic environment with diverse work assignments.
