- Participate in and support planning of the Airport Operational Readiness (AOR) Program.
- Review the design and specifications of facilities and systems and assess trial requirements for all systems, equipment, processes, facilities, and stakeholders for select CIP projects.
- Assist in the development of a comprehensive Trials Program to ensure the systems/equipment, facilities and stakeholders are assessed for operational readiness of new facilities.
- Assist in developing Trial Scripts for orientation and familiarization training courses that cover generic facility spaces, functions and systems and individual stakeholder requirements.
- Oversee/develop trial scripts and ensure alignment of these by applicable system or function.
- Develop a Trial staff/resource plan, per project.
- Propose and follow-up on recruitment and training of the Trial staff.
- Support the sourcing and contracting of Trial service providers and volunteers.
- Assist in defining/aligning operational performance/acceptance levels of Trials with the applicable stakeholders.
- Work closely with the AOR Subject Matter Experts on the execution of trials.
- Submit weekly Trial efforts and status reports to the AOR Manager.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Construction, Planning or related fields; preferred with a concentration in training and development; or related field.
- Word, Excel, Power Point, Prolog, Outlook, Office 365, Bluebeam, video training aides.
- 3-5 years of experience in an airport operational setting
- Thorough knowledge of and experience with training programs and coordinating large events.
- Comprehensive knowledge of industry practices for airport systems. Possess technical skills in project management, aviation operations, training, documentation, communications, and/or operational or technology testing.
- Proven leadership and management capability is required.
