    Job Summary:

    As the Director of Product Management you will be at the forefront of shaping our institutional offerings within BitGo's Prime Brokerage services. You will lead a team dedicated to developing and delivering cutting-edge solutions tailored specifically to the needs of institutional clients operating in the digital asset space. Your role will involve collaborating closely with stakeholders across the organization to define and execute a product strategy that meets the unique requirements of institutional prime brokerage services in the crypto industry. Your expertise will be crucial in navigating the complexities of this rapidly evolving landscape, ensuring that our products remain at the forefront of innovation and compliance.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead the product management team in defining and executing the product roadmap tailored to the needs of institutional prime brokerage clients, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
    • Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis specific to institutional prime brokerage services, identifying market trends, client needs, and opportunities for product innovation.
    • Collaborate closely with institutional clients, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize features that address the unique needs of institutional prime brokerage clients.
    • Define comprehensive product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for institutional prime brokerage products and services, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
    • Drive the end-to-end product development process for institutional prime brokerage solutions, from concept to launch, managing timelines, resources, and dependencies to deliver high-quality products on schedule.
    • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics specific to institutional prime brokerage products, gathering client feedback and insights to iterate on existing offerings and inform future enhancements.
    • Work closely with compliance and legal teams to ensure that institutional prime brokerage products and services meet regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
    • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop tailored go-to-market strategies for institutional prime brokerage products, including product positioning, messaging, and sales enablement materials.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert on institutional prime brokerage services, staying abreast of industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, computer science, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
    • 8+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of delivering successful digital products or services, specifically within the institutional prime brokerage space.
    • Deep understanding of institutional finance and prime brokerage services, including but not limited to custody, lending, trading, and settlement processes.
    • Extensive knowledge of digital assets and blockchain technology, with a focus on how these technologies are applied within institutional settings.
    • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring a team of product managers in the context of institutional prime brokerage services.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with institutional clients, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and analyze data specific to institutional prime brokerage needs, informing product decisions and strategies.
    • Proven ability to navigate regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks relevant to institutional prime brokerage services, including anti-money laundering (AML) and know your customer (KYC) regulations.
    • Experience working in agile development methodologies, with a deep understanding of the product development lifecycle within the institutional prime brokerage domain.
    • Passion for innovation and driving positive change within institutional finance and the digital asset industry.

    Pay Transparency Notice: Depending upon your leveling and location, the compensation for this role averages between $215,000 - $250,000 USD base salary. Equity, an annual performance bonus and the benefits outlined below are also a part of this role's package.
