    Blue Nile is currently seeking a Luxury Sales Consultant to join our retail showroom in Fashion Island, Newport Beach, CA. The ideal candidate should embody the essence of luxury service and possess a genuine interest in educating customers on jewelry selections. A Luxury Sales Consultant at Blue Nile is personable, enthusiastic, and dedicated to assisting others. Our goal is to offer exceptional customer service and establish lasting connections with our clientele.



    Responsibilities:
    • Articulate the unique value of Blue Nile, building trust and credibility in our brand
    • Provide top-notch customer service and continuously expand product knowledge to educate customers
    • Deliver accurate information and ensure a consistent Blue Nile experience for customers
    • Proactively follow up on all communications, both internal and external, while upholding Blue Nile service standards
    • Effectively resolve complex customer service issues, going above and beyond to exceed customer expectations
    • Cultivate a service-oriented culture focused on the customer, enhancing the shopping experience and fostering long-term relationships for business growth
    • Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality consistently
    • Achieve or surpass company sales and service targets on a regular basis
    • Collaborate with colleagues and showroom management to address issues while prioritizing customer satisfaction

    Requirements:
    • Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is essential
    • High school diploma or GED equivalent
    • Knowledge of jewelry is advantageous but not mandatory
    • Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus
    • Strong interpersonal skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and effective time management skills
    • Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills
    • Keen attention to detail and a commitment to integrity
    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
    • Proficiency in computer operations, typing, and data entry; adept at navigating various computer systems
    • Capable of standing for extended periods
    • Flexible with scheduling and willing to accommodate retail peak seasons
    • Authorized to work in the U.S.

    Benefits:

    The hourly pay for this position ranges from $20.64 to $29.93. Actual compensation offered may vary based on location, internal factors, and relevant job expertise and experience. Employees in regular roles may be eligible for discretionary bonuses. Blue Nile provides medical, vision, and dental insurance, along with a 401(k) employer match and other perks for qualifying positions.
