- Collaborate with the Executive Director, volunteer treasurer, and leadership team on operational and strategic financial matters. Provide financial analysis, cost identification, and revenue/expense analysis to support decision-making.
- Supervise long-term budget planning in line with strategic goals. Participate in strategic planning and monitor operations against budget to recommend adjustments.
- Manage cash flow, forecasting, and investment accounts, consulting with investment advisors as needed. Work closely with the treasurer to plan committee meetings and reports.
- Attend Board of Directors meetings and serve as a key member in finance-related committees.
- 7-10 years of progressive finance and supervisory experience, including accounting, budgeting, and financial management. CPA preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required. Experience with 501(c)(3) organizations is a must.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, databases, Microsoft GP, and Excel. Knowledge of U.S. GAAP is essential.
- Strong communication skills, leadership abilities, and a focus on customer service.
- Demonstrated success in managing teams, setting priorities, and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable with change and continuous improvement efforts.

The selected individual will oversee INFORMS' finances, managing an annual budget of around $13M and a $20M portfolio.
