Position Summary
The Senior Strategic Execution Project Manager is responsible for modeling the Compassus values of Compassion, Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork, and Innovation and for promoting the Compassus philosophy, using the 6 Pillars of Success as the foundation.
S/he is responsible for upholding the Code of Ethical Conduct and for promoting positive working relationships within the company, among all departments, and all external stakeholders.
Under discerning leadership, the Senior Strategic Execution Project Manager takes charge of the comprehensive development and implementation of assigned projects, serving as the singular point of contact throughout their lifecycle.
From conceptualization to final execution, this role defines project scope and objectives with precision. Detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, and resource plans are expertly crafted to guide the project seamlessly.Conducting decisive project meetings, the Senior Project Manager assumes responsibility for meticulous project tracking and analysis, ensuring milestones align with established timelines.
With a commitment to uncompromising quality, this role rigorously reviews project deliverables, maintaining strict adherence to industry standards.Position Specific Responsibilities
Responsible for requirements definition, creating project scope and obtaining scope approval, and creating project plans, resource plans and project cost estimates.
Ensures that all project requests are aligned with Compassus goals and strategic plan.Resolves ambiguities in project requirements and gains consensus from project team members.
Coordinates project efforts and activities to achieve agreed timelines and budgets. Responsible for moving the status of projects forward to ensure deadlines are met.
Understands and coordinates activities with and between multiple internal departments.
Leads and facilitates organizational change management.
Partners with business leaders, HR, and Learning to set and maintain focus on the business context for change and to plan and execute detailed change management activities.
Produces accurate and complete project documentation including but not limited to: Requirements definition, scope documents, statements of work, project schedules, communication plan, staffing plans and requests, status reports, issue logs, test plans and test plan results, and project budgets.
Consults with project stakeholders to review project proposals, determine goals, scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budgetary considerations.Develops project plans specifying goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources.
Assigns duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to project personnel. Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget.
Owns project plans during implementations:
prepares for and organizes routine implementation status meetings, holds project sponsors, drivers and contributors accountable for timely delivery of action items, manages meeting agendas and meeting minutes.
Interacts directly with the customer and with project/implementation counterparts.Creates status reports with business and relevant updates for executive presentations.
Attends and presents at executive meetings.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in a business-related field preferred.
Five (5) to seven (7) years of progressive experience as a Project Manager strongly preferred.
Experience in health care is preferred.
Skills
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leaders, team members, investors, and external parties. Strong written and verbal communications.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English. Articulates and embraces integrated healthcare at home philosophy.
Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Six Sigma belt preferred.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
The demands of this role necessitate a team member to effectively perform essential functions. Adaptations can be made to accommodate team members with disabilities.
Regular standing, walking, and manual dexterity are fundamental, along with the ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds.
Visual acuity requirements include close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
