    Description


    One of the fastest-growing convenience store operators in the US is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join their corporate team in Fort Worth, TX.

    The Senior Staff Accountant position requires a highenergy, results-oriented person with great attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

    The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of GAAP and have a proven track-record of working independently.

    This position reports to the Corporate Controller and will work closely with senior management and other departments including Accounting, Legal, Construction and Operations.


    Duties and responsibilities include:

    assist with the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close; process month-end general ledger entries for assigned accounts; prepare analysis, draft memorandums, and propose journal entries for complex accounting matters.


    CPA

    • Retail or Convenience Store industry background
    • 4+ years of experience as a Full-Cyle Accountant or in a similar role
    • Public Accounting experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
    • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP's, pivot tables)
    • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
    • Must be able to go onsite 5 days a week in Fort Worth, TX
